| Accused of cheating... and who the heck is z00b?
Twice I was kicked to "make room for an admin". In addition FehrKepn, Ratdog, 1con and pretty much my entire squad were kicked (huh?). I figured it was some kind of server bug but I was still suspicious that I was kicked by an admin.
Second time this happened I went in to vent and asked z00b (the only admin available) what was going on. Apparently he was the one who kicked me. Some n00b player (can't remember his name) was accusing me and 1con of cheating but according to z00b over "10 people" were accusing me of cheating. I asked him if he took a PB screenshot and he said yes but also said that they can be bypassed by cheating software. He then told me I'd probably "be banned for a while" and not to worry because you're "switching to 2142 anyways".
This isn't the kind of unprofessional behavior I expect from the StrafeRight server admins. In fact this is absolutely ridiculous and the last server I expected this to happen on was sR. TecKng, Craig and a couple others are well aware of my abilites and they know my alternate nickname and they're also very much aware I have many full-length FRAPs videos available showing my abilites first hand - completely cheat free. I've submitted multiple screenshots of my own screen to Teckng on numerous occasions (for player intentionally teamkilling ect..) and absolutely none of them have had a trace of anything fishy on them.
So really what is a skilled player like me supposed to do? I invite players to watch me and make sure I'm legitimate. Apparently PB screenshot doesn't work so where does that leave me? My word against z00bs?
Very dissapointed and hoping that TecKng or Craig will resolve this. |
