nVIDIA Server lag and frequest disconnects

Anyone else experiencing higher than normal lag, (ping is OK , however), and/or frequent server disconnects?

hey mrpacs,

I've heard reports of this as well... I know Teck is aware of the issue and that he is working closely with Nvidia to see what the problem may be. Please keep posting here with anymore troubles.

I am personally working with the nVidia game server tech to fix these problems... In fact I will be putting a news post up soon about the server... We will be taking it down on the 29th of this month for about a day... You name it... We will be doing it and checking it on the server...

We are working very hard to pinpoint the problems...

Loads of lag and disconnects! I thought it was because of the really anal campus firewall and distance from the server... but you never know.

Thanks Teck. The only lag Ive been experiencing that really bothers me is computer/network side(my hardrive light blinks, causes lag, and I get network lag spikes of 1000...but it has a perfect pattern...so something must have started scanning my computer

)

Though there are a few times where Ive been disconected.

There are no firewalls involved. The server has a wide open connection to the net like most game servers. The onboard NIC seems to have issues that I'm looking at, but the connection itself to the servers is not the issue
