Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning

Well, judging the youtube beta videos, those from conventions, and those posted on their site, Warhammer Online seems to really be coming along (I'm somewhat glad it got delayed). I cant wait to try the revamped RvR. To me, capturing, and building a keep, then defending it in real time is the epitome of pvp. I will definentaly get this game if it continues along it's current path. Who else is going to get it? Any WoW'ers going to switch?

If you plan on getting the game, what "army"/race are you going to play, or what "class"?

I'm thinking of dabbling in Chaos or being a Greenskin.

RvR? realm v realm idk last mmo i played was wow and i dont think i will ever go back

I'ts more of their PvP, I believe that its just like Horde Vs. Alliance, but on the same server. (except its order vs. destruction ). You can help in the RvR by doing normal quests, randomly killing people, stuff like CTF, and then they have recently added another type where you control a point, and a keep eventually gets built on it, with your guild colors and stuff displayed. Once it is up, you get npcs to help guard it from other players and guilds attacking it.

This will be much different than WoW, It has great lore. Should all go well it will be a much different game.

Seems really cool to me.

Might try it.. As long as it dosnt become crack like wow did and my grades droped and my social life blumited

Hm, maybe. If I have to pay for it, though, then no way. I can't afford WoW and Warhammer. If Warhammer gets enough support on here (what's with all the WoW haters anyway?), then I might.

Well i personally think wow is a easy game. A bad game for new mmorpg players to start out on. I think they should start on like Eq or COH or COV

Lunariss, you dont have to split your time between both, you can play Warhammer 24/7

Very true. It doesn't take skill to get the best items, just lots of farming.

@ Fischig - I know, but I won't start playing Warhammer until I see a decent amount of players on here.
