i dont really know much about your guild since i dont play on stormscale, but i was wondering why you guys are called "New Guild Name" instead of "strafeRight"? not sure what the story behind it is, although New Guild Name is a funny name

last i heard it was because someone hijacked that name. i am sure there is a hilarious story behind it.

Skado has put a long story short for you. This is what happens when you give Guild Master powers to an immature man whose life doesn't extend further than Ironforge.

Anyways, we reformed without him and made <Strafe Right> but to log on the next day with a lovely new guild name given to us by the GM's because most likely is was reported because <StrafeRight> still existed. When GM's force you to change your guild tag, you are given < New Guild Name > Since we suck at creativity, we decided to stick with it.

haha yeah that answers it, sucks you guys got your name stolen tho. does strafeRight (the fake one) still exist then?

it exists on some low level, probably lvl 1, alt.

That's pretty lame. You may be able to speak with someone higher up in customer service and explain the situation (being that this is the guild that is truly representative of the strafeRight community) and get the situation squared away. Hopefully at least get them to let you use some variant of strafeRight if not the exact. Maybe not.
