According to Blizzard the following Intel GPU is compatible with limited functionality:

Extreme Graphics 2 (865G / 865GV / 855GM) Series
Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA 900 / 82915) Chipset*
*Limited Pixelshader Support

But this is not compatible:

Extreme Graphics (82810 / 82815) Series

Ive run the game on the Intel EX2 card and it runs amazingly well as long as you have 1gb of ram.

I run WOW at 1024x768 at about 15-20 FPS with a:

Fujitsu 7210D
- Pentium M 1.2
- 1 GB ram
- Integrated Video 915GM
- Settings at "medium" and most effects turned off.

It's definitely playable if you're on a budget.

Try the new drivers from intel. Went from getting 15-20fps, to 25-30 (yeah no joke), I even hit 45 when there is not to many other players around.
