Contra on XBLA anybody?

With Lumines being released tomorrow, and Mortal Kombat 3 also around the corner, MS has released info on some XBLA games that will defintely be seeing the light of day before 2007. Among them Contra!

So who is up for some 2 player co-op contra fun?

I bought a NES a few months back just for Contra. Even with 2 PC's, Xbox360, PS2 and HD tv in my room, most people that visit ask to play Contra lol.... CANT WAIT!!!!!

Can't see why they took the site down for a day, didnt really ad anything that shouldn't of been able to be added on the fly.:thumbdown

I had been hoping it would be a big patch... with the new dashboard... :thumbdown

So, I reported on this a while ago... and Contra was finally released yesterday. However, and I do hate to be the bearer of bad news... the contra that we might all remember isnt the one on XBLA. if you are like me, you grew up playing the NES Contra, which rocked. This Contra however, while similar, is the arcade version... which is extremely short. Let me put it this way, one of the achievements, is to beat the game in 12 minutes.

Do you guys know why they shrank the screen so much for Contra? Other than that, its really fun.
