Rock Band

EA+MTV+Harmonix = milking the guitar hero idea for all its worth.

Enter Rock Band, or what I had been speculating would be called Band Hero(es) for the past couple of months.

It takes the premise of Guitar Hero, but takes it to a whole new level. The game will have not only a guitarist, but also a base, vocalist, and drummer. All in one package.

I sort of knew this was coming... it was the next logical step for the series, especialy with Harmonix having handed the GH series to Neversoft.

So what do you all think? Will it work?

the vocals are probably gonna be like the american idol game, where you just have to make the right pitch. the drum part could be sweet, though i dont know how they would do it.

this just seems like a horrible idea. I'm against the whole guitar hero anyways because. Why play a game with 5 buttons when it would be way more gratifying to learn and really play the song on a REAL guitar?
