Well? Let's hear it people! I'm away tonight on biz so my beloved X360 sits idle waiting for me to get home to get the beta action going...but you can at least give us some thoughts

Crackdown beta access has been delayed all day till about 30 mins ago.. downloading it now!! I'm at 45% of 911.18 mb!

im really interested in this beta. I put down halo2 awhile back. Is there anyway for me to get on the beta? Can i rent crackdown and play? Hows this work?

i think you missed it dave...the cutoff was before the beta actually started. and they had to be a certain Crackdown edition...not the rented ones I think.

Burt may know as he had a copy overnighted to him a few days ago to make the deadline

Okay, quick first impressions
1. I'm reminded how much I suck at Halo.
2. Multiplayer w/o the other people in the same house is just creepy to me.
3. For some reason, I just can't get comfortable with the control scheme now. I play with the legacy style, vertical axis inverted, and the beta just doesn't seem 'right' to me. This could be b/c of playing crackdown where I had to get used to that control scheme.
4. Without having a high-def TV I'm probably missing a lot of the eye-candy, but I personally can't tell that much difference between Halo2 and this beta.

Please keep in mind though I'm exhausted now, and probably got ticked off too easily at the people who would shoot me when I was trying to figure out how to control everything.
