Halo 3 Achievements

Discuss what achievements you've unlocked, help others out.

I've graduated from basic training, found the tough luck, iron, and black eye skulls, assassinated 5 enemies in one match, killed 5 enemies with a needler in one match, got promoted to sergeant, earned the MVP, and completed campaign on normal.

I'm working on completing campaign on legendary with 3 other people. I hear 4 people can be beat in about 8 hours. That should give me the heroic and legendary points (125) each for the achievements.

All I'm really trying to do now is get a mongoose kill. I've hit people with them but only gotten their shields down and then they usually end up killing me. Is there any other way to do this?

I get 9 kills and die while trying to get a killing frenzy. Tips would be great.

I'd be happy to help anyone else out. I just thought it would be a good idea if we could share some strategies and ideas for getting these achievements, because I'm working on getting all of them.

i gave in after i beat it co-op on legendary with taxi and burt and found a skull list so now im going through solo legendary collecting skulls. umm tips for killing sprees (i havent got any yet) close confined areas, open fields are really risky of say getting shot in the back, so i'de say maybe Pit with the energy sword or something close, mongoose kill would be valhalla

oh and on legendary, go for headshots

i've gone for the mongoose kill on high ground and valhalla. i've gotten 9 kills at least 3 times and then dying on snowbound in the bunkers below, it can get pretty crazy down there.

Getting a mongoose kill is easy on sandtrap, you can run people over in those tunnels.

I ended up telling someone to let me kill them, and they actually did. So I got it.

I like your sig gun, and i find it kinda funny how Master Chief can punch a tank 3-4 times and make it explode(that was random)...but anyway...im on the last mission on the campaign for Heroic, then ill probably beat it in legendary, but im only a private right now...

can anyone tell me where and what i have to do to get some of those skulls???

Guides can be found on youtube and all over the internet. But if you want to find them yourself, look in the most random places on the map you can think of. I've gotten the first 3. When you find it, just hold in the right bumper (like you're picking up a gun) and you've got it.

I have 11 of 13 skulls but can not find the last 2.

quick 9 golden skulls (the one on the first scarab tank level you cant kills the wraiths first, the purple like mortar tanks. Also the one on cortana must get before you blow the reactor)
