Halo 3 Ending *spoilers*

OK so i beat the game on Normal....and i have NO IDEA what happened to chief, either i missed something or im just dumb, could some body fill me in please....all i got out of it is the sarge died and the captain died and a bunch of other people died, then there standing on a hill with this wall thing as a memorial for all the people that died, the arbitor goes to his ship, and at the end they focus in on one certain section of the wall with 117 carved on there, which is Master Chiefs number thingy...so i couldnt tell if he died or not, one of my friends on XBL says he didnt, but where the hell was he in the end....OMFG IM SOO CONFUSED, WHERE ARE YOU CHIEF....

If you are really desperate and don't want top beat it on legendary you can watch this.

Not the worst ending I have seen to a good game.

you have to let the credits roll to see the ending don't touch any buttons, or you can watch it where Taxi showed you.

Bungie said that halo 3 was the last of the halos.

Just play the last level again and let it surprise you.

And I watched the special dvd Pro with the limited edition and I remembered them saying "since this is the last halo...", so I guess so then.

Halo Wars (real time strategy) will be the next Halo branded game.

I suspect we won't see a real continuation to the Halo franchise until the birth of the next console generation.
