| it pains me to say this, because i actually bought the game.. seriously ive only bought like 6-7 games in my life.
i got AC and it is amazing, the story is really cool, but there are alot of minor things that have been bothing me alot, but it is acceptable because the went past my expectations in other areas of the game.
1 - the AI is horrible,
2 - the fighting isn't bad, it is better than most action rpgs than i remember, but it isn't consistant, i have trouble when i assassinate the first guy when im saving a citizen trying to pull out my sword, so i get like 1-2 hits on my then i finnaly get it out and bring the pain. there are numerous animations and swings you can do, but not enough from it being repetitive, maybe double the amounts would be great, but that would be abit ambitious.
3 - jumping around if cool and shit, but sometimes you cant climb up somthing that is perfectly climbable (like on to a roof of a castle in darnascus (maybe it was acre i can't remember).
4 - the retarded people tha tpush you are just obnoxious lol...
5 - ALL OF THE DAMN SPEAKERS SAY THE SAME THING! oh my god, when ever you enter a town you here some guy speaking publicly, somthing about christians an dhow they suck and thier crusade is just for violence, blah blah, ever section of a town poor, middle, rich, these speakers all say the same thing. its mad annoying. when you rescure a citizen, they say the same thing aswell.
i think the biggest thing is that they spent alot of time making this great game - it really is - but they could of deffinatly pushed it further, and it is fairly simple things that couldn't have of been over looked.
the needed different lines for each person to say (the public speakers / citizens you arrest / people chasing you or looking for you ) there are only 3-4 different lines and its kinda annoying.
i don't know what im trying to say here, im just blabbering, take my advice or leave it, but i would go for COD4 - you get a (from what i have heard) damn good single player for an FPS and you get the bonus of a multiplayer, or vice versa :P infinitly more hours of enjoyment than just a single player game in AC.
deffinatly get around to playing AC because it really is one of a kind, and soon to many more cheesier followers and hopfully one that can produce an experience better, (maybe AC2 :P).
