Its definatly a fun game. but i think without the ability to customize your weapons it would be alot less fun. ive found that the people who are paid to review the game think it blows large nuts, but the people who just love to play games and spend all of their time playing it love the game. just shows you how much you cant rely on a reviewers opinion.

Well I think Im going to go rent it tomorrow or something and Ill let you know what I think of it. You can't always go by what reviewers say. For example movie reviewers. Some say a movie blows but I watch it and I might like it. Its all from THEIR point of view.

definitely get a buddy to play though. makes it a ton better. i hope gears of war 2 can take some of the things like sliding into cover and automatically taking cover and use them in GoW2. i like it better than having to press A all the time.

Yeah that was my plan. I got a buddy coming over tomorrow and we were thinking of renting a few games. Thats on my list to try out. Hopefully it will be fun

I thought it was great too when I beta tested it for Electronic Arts. Been playing it ever since I got the full copy. Excellent graphics! Did you see on gamespot the critic rated it down to 5.2 because he didn't like politically involved games?
