StrafeRight is a very laid back atmosphere, and we do our very best to keep it that way at all times. More than anything, we want everyone to have a good time, and because of this there are a few simple guidelines we ask everyone to abide by when they're in the game servers,on the website/forums or in the voice channels.

 
 
 

No Cheating/Hacking/Exploiting

Any of the above actions (cheating/hacking/exploiting) are strictly forbidden on all StrafeRight game servers. Players who commence in these activities will be immediately globally perma-banned from all StrafeRight servers as well as this website. Without integrity, we are nothing. Words to live by.

No Racist, Hateful Or Otherwise Violent Remarks

Absolutely, positively no racist or threatening remarks of any kind are allowed. There is no second chance on this, instant and permanent bans will be given out for anyone breaking this rule. It does not matter if the words are said in jest, or if they are written in anger, both will be treated in the same swift manner (perma-ban). This rule not only applies to in-game communication (both text and VoIP), but also player and squad names as well as any user generated content on the StrafeRight.com site.

Overall Conduct

We ask that you approach this server as you would any public place with regards to your overall conduct. Imagine you're a guest in someone's home. And imagine that person is also a guest in your home. Use your better judgment and you'll do just fine.

How To Report Violations

StraferRight members are the first and best defense against asshattery that may go on around the site or in the servers. If you see a violation of our guidelines and would like to report said violator, here is what you can do to get the offending toolbag dealt with swiftly and effectively:

  • In-game violations on our servers - Please report in the appropriate Admin Assistance Forums for the game in question. Please include any screenshots or unique identifying numbers such as a SteamID that you can get. Admins will review the reported offense as soon as they can, take action and report back in the thread with a final resolution.

  • Website violations - If you see inappropriate behavior on the forums or in our Ventrilo voice servers please report them to the site admin via our Contact Us page which can be found at the top of any page on this site (link for the blind).

Wearing The StrafeRight Tags

If you're interested in wearing the "sR" tag while in-game, just be sure that all of the guidelines on this page seem acceptable to you. There is no specific tag and we encourage our members to be creative when designing the one they would like to use in-game.
