All About You: MisterX
This is the newest person we've had in the interview chair for our All About You blog post.
Brought to StrafeRight by the new owners, MisterX stayed on to enjoy the banter.
Although a relatively new sR-er compared to the those who went before, MisterX has been video gaming since he was a lad.
Favorite piece of tech was a surprise to MisterX, these days he's not seen without it at home!
We're on the look out for new interviewees, if you're interested in answering the questions or volunteering someone else, just pm MisterX or Ohmigosh.
We do sometimes gain new game postings from companies, but most times it is just a single post and they never stay and chat. August saw this trend bucked, not once but twice and by some whim of fate both are game developers of racing games. So without further ado, let me introduce you to Mindwedge and MeltdownZA!
Monster Minis Extreme Off-Road, the initial offering from micro studio Mindwedge, lays on the nitrous in a big way and gets some serious air off with retro racing that takes off-road in new directions. A retro look and a surreal style are only the beginning of the ways that this single-player title takes you back to when racing was a personal experience for as long as you could handle it.
MeltdownZA is hard at work on Monster Truck Racing - Extreme Offroad, which boasts day and night racing in 6 different arenas, with sand, mud and snow track conditions. There are over 40 upgrades available that can make to your truck to get the edge on your opponents. The game will have single-player and multiplayer modes. MeltdownZA's keen to hear your thoughts on the newly launched free demo.
Thanks to Joe, the release of CounterStrike: Global Offensive also saw the return of the StrafeRight Sheds!
Joe's set up two servers to tempt you; the first is a 24/7 Office/Dust2 combo, while the second showcases the new Arms Race game mode which was known by many previously as gungame.
For more information check out the Game Servers Page.
Have you been following the StrafeRight adventures in the Day Z Journals?
At first it was just Sergeant Assist and HellzKnight, then Willy, Tsailen and Kage joined the fun. From doing the "weekly shop" in one of the supermarkets to run ins with walkers, bandits and the Schmidts; every journal entry has been packed with daring deeds, close escapes like when TeamSpeak's gone down, and pointers for those thinking about joining.
Have the brave band found a safe base camp, will they run into bandit trouble, and will we get another group photo so we can play "spot the ghillie suit"? Follow the blogs to find out! Day Z Journal.
