All About You: CoffeeShark
An unconscious urge to self-volunteer brought CoffeeShark to the interview chair for October's All About You blog post.
Joining StrafeRight in 2004, CoffeeShark explains that he tagged along when Craig & co started the gaming offshoot from notebookforums.
This month has seen CoffeeShark spending most of his time on Torchlight II, but when faced with the choice of taking only one game to a desert island it was another game title in the frame - can you guess what it was?
If you're interested in answering the questions or volunteering someone for the interview chair, just send a pm to Ohmigosh.
Hot off the Press thanks to new member Jake21, we've got an early review of the latest in the King's Bounty series.
Young Olaf, the son of the Northling King, battles to liberate the icy wastelands of the North, dwarven dungeons and Darion, the heart of the Endoria, from the reign of necromancy.
Jake21's a fan of the King's Bounty titles, being a release-day purchaser of the previous two titles and having played computer games "since before doom arrived on the scene".
To assist Jake in providing a review, he was supplied with an early preview copy (think demo), but what did Jake21 think of the game, the mechanics and how it compares against earlier titles? Read his full King's Bounty review in our blogs section.
Back in May this year Maelstrom116 shared with us "The Day Ice Cream Stood Still", well he's back with a new game for your pleasure, Modern Toyfare.
This is an FPS mod built on the UDK engine. The game is based on toys from the 80's and 90's, with capture-the-flag gameplay that uses randomly generated events from the Zen-Controller to enhance gameplay.
Check out the link for game images and a link to download the game. Maelstrom116 has also provided a server file if you want to play 4v4 and although it's never been tried, there is talk of it supporting up to 8v8!
Try it out and use the forum to let Maelstrom116 know your thoughts.

Painkiller Hell & Damnation is a fast-paced, thrilling modern remake of the all-action shooter classic. Demonic powers are manifesting themselves as a myriad of dark creatures, fighting over the fates of imprisoned souls caught in Purgatory.
Once again, it is up to Daniel Garner, in the unenviable position of being the Curse of Darkness and the Toy of Light, to fight his way past hordes of demons and fiends. Questions remain. "Can he stop the powerful creatures that stand in his way? Will he ever leave the hell of Purgatory and be reunited with his wife Catherine?"

The second expansion for the critically praised strategy-RPG, Crusader Kings II focuses on the Byzantine Empire.
In the rich political world of Byzantium, the vassals have been scheming. They have split into factions and they are banding together to revolt against your rule. Legacy of Rome contains a wealth of new features to outsmart them and maintain your empire. The final breaths of the Roman Empire are in your hands.
Crusader Kings II explores one of the defining periods of world history in an experience crafted by Paradox Development Studio, the masters of Grand Strategy. Medieval Europe is brought to life in this epic game of knights, schemes, and thrones.
A dwarven prince on a quest to reclaim his people's old country takes you on a journey through a continent, uncovering the buried mysteries of the Great War.
The gameplay consists of ordering the inhabitants of a dwarven settlement to dig, build and conduct research in order to strengthen the clan, while defending themselves from the terrible beasts from the depths into which they delve.
A unique world generates each time a new level starts, so you need to dynamically adapt your strategies and tactics during a session. As you advance, the dwarves will level up and gain new skills, progressing from weak dwarflings to near immortal warriors or master craftsmen.
Be careful. The deeper you dig, the more dangerous foes you might unleash...
